Submissions open October 15, 2026 at 00:00 UTC and close October 31, 2026 at 23:59 UTC. Community Choice voting closes November 3, 2026 at 23:59 UTC. Late entries do not qualify.
ELIGIBILITY
Participants must be 18 or older. The contest is global, subject to Devpost geographic exceptions and applicable law. Individuals and teams may enter. Each person may appear on one entry. RenderJuice employees, administrators, judges, and their immediate households may not compete for prizes.
ACCOUNT AND ENTRY
Participation requires a free RenderJuice account and membership in the RenderJuice Discord. In #start-here, click Join contest and enter the email attached to a valid RenderJuice account. The form is private. Your email will not appear in Discord. RenderJuice uses it to match prizes to the account. RenderJuice will verify account ownership before prize delivery.
Post one Official Entry in #contest-submissions before the deadline. Include the finished video or public video link, a short description, your name or team name, at least one Blender work-in-progress image, and required asset disclosures. You may mirror the project on Devpost.
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Create a new 5–30 second animation about Speed. Blender must be the primary creation tool. You may render locally, with RenderJuice, or with another service. You keep ownership of your work and grant RenderJuice permission to display and promote the entry with creator credit.
A .blend file is not required with the initial entry. RenderJuice may request more work-in-progress evidence or source material when verifying finalists. RenderJuice may disqualify entries that infringe rights, manipulate voting, impersonate another creator, or misrepresent their production process.
PRIZES
• First Place: $500 cash and $750 in RenderJuice credits.
• Second Place: $250 cash and $550 in RenderJuice credits.
• Third Place: $150 cash and $400 in RenderJuice credits.
• Best RenderJuice Promo: $100 cash and $300 in RenderJuice credits.
• Best Procedural & Programmatic Animation: $100 cash and $300 in RenderJuice credits.
• Community Choice: $100 cash and $300 in RenderJuice credits.
• Best Simulation & FX: $100 cash and $300 in RenderJuice credits.
• Best Motion Design: $100 cash and $300 in RenderJuice credits.
• Funniest Animation: $100 cash and $300 in RenderJuice credits.
• Additional Honorable Mentions: $100 in RenderJuice credits for each selected entry. These awards are additional to the $5,000 pool.
RenderJuice is responsible for cash payouts and account credits. Awarded credits remain valid for six months from the claim date. Winners must complete account and eligibility verification.
JUDGING AND WINNER SELECTION
RenderJuice admins select the Major and Specialty Awards. They use this 100-point scorecard for First, Second, and Third Place:
• Idea: 30 points
• Animation: 25 points
• Visuals: 25 points
• Use of Speed: 20 points
Judges select Specialty Awards from the strongest remaining eligible entries. They consider the category requirement, idea, overall quality, and use of Speed.
Community Choice uses 🔥 reactions on Official Entries in the RenderJuice Discord. Any Discord visitor may vote. RenderJuice may remove fraudulent, purchased, automated, or manipulated reactions. Administrator decisions are final.

CODE OF CONDUCT
All participants, attendees, organizers, sponsors, and judges must treat others with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, intimidation, unwanted sexual attention, stalking, deliberate disruption, and abusive conduct are prohibited.
Report concerns to support@renderjuice.com. RenderJuice may investigate reports, remove content, reject entries, or remove anyone from the event or associated online spaces. Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern is prohibited. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
This policy applies to the event location, Devpost, the RenderJuice Discord, and other contest-related spaces.
